Meet Zach Allen: Our New Search Consultant in Florida

I’m very excited to announce that Zach Allen has joined the BSP team as a Search Consultant representing the Sunshine State!

Zach is from Oviedo, Florida, and has served in the local church for close to 30 years with many of those years focusing on Youth Ministry, College Ministry, Assimilation, and Missions. He is currently the Ministries and Administration Pastor at Westside Baptist Church in Gainesville, Florida. Zach has held leadership roles in the Florida Baptist Convention & Southern Baptist Convention as well as his local Baptist Association. His ministry leadership and experience will serve churches well as a Search Consultant. 

Ephesians 4:13 has played a tremendous roll in Zach’s life, from being the one equipped to being an encouraging equipper of others in the church. There have been three crucial factors related to staffing that Zach has used while serving the local church: discipling, developing, and deploying.

Zach is a graduate of Florida State University and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is married to Shelley, and they have three children. He enjoys family time, sports, cooking, and doing anything at the gym that isn’t running.
