I’m very happy to announce that George Ross has joined our team as a Search Consultant in Louisiana. He has a wealth of experience in a variety of ministry roles, church planting, and SBC entity work. Let me tell you a little more about him.

George has decades of church planting, pastoring, and leadership development experience. He has been in full-time ministry for over thirty years, currently serving as South Region Director for Send Network and Director of the NAMB/NOBTS Church Planting Center.

He’s been a faithful Southern Baptist his entire ministry, serving in both large and normative-size SBC churches, and believes the local church is God’s chosen means for advancing the gospel across the street and around the world. George has been discipling and equipping the next generation of leaders through church-based residencies and coaching, walking alongside pastors, planters, and ministry leaders as they are shaped for a lifetime of faithful ministry.

He holds a bachelor’s degree from Crichton College, an M.Div. in Evangelism and Church Planting from Liberty University, and a D.Min. in Spiritual Formation from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He also currently serves as an Elder at Lakeshore Church in New Orleans and leads biblical study tours to Greece, Turkey, and Israel through Lagniappe Mission.

George loves his family and local church and seeks to glorify God by making disciples who manifest God’s kingdom by loving Jesus, leading well, and living the gospel.

George is married to Joy, and they have six children.
